Arthroscopic Anatomic Glenoid Reconstruction vs Latarjet: Evaluating Reconstruction Techniques (ALERT) Trial – A Prospective Randomized Controlled Trial

Description: This study compares two different treatments for shoulder dislocations with critical bone loss: Latarjet procedure vs Arthroscopic Anatomic Glenoid Reconstruction (AAGR). Both procedures involve a bony augmentation to the glenoid, but the Latarject procedure involves transferring bone from the coracoid process (part of the shoulder) while the AAGR uses a distal tibial allograft (part of the leg) for the augmentation.
