The Arthroscopic Treatment of Recurrent Anterior Shoulder Instability: A Pilot Multi-centre Randomized Controlled Trial

Description: This study compares two different treatments for shoulder dislocations with subcritical bone loss: Bankart repair vs Arthroscopic Anatomic Glenoid Reconstruction (AAGR). The Bankart repair is a soft tissue stabilization which involves re-attaching the torn tissue (the labrum) back to the bone (the glenoid). The AAGR uses a distal tibial allograft (part of the leg) to reconstruct the bony surface (the glenoid).
